Garlic as Cure
People often have a love/hate relationship with garlic. They can’t live without it because it compliments a wide array of dishes. They also hate garlic because of its smell which often leads to garlic breath when one has eaten too many.
Aside from adding flavour to our dishes, the smelly garlic is praised by a lot of people because of its medicinal properties. Garlic is highly effective in lowering blood pressure. Many doctors often encourage their patients to eat raw garlic as often as they can. For those who can’t stand the smell and taste, garlic powder supplements are prescribed. Garlic is a natural blood thinner and are prescribed to patients with blood clot problems. After a few weeks of garlic diet and supplements, significant changes are seen in the patients.
Aside from the mentioned benefits, garlic is a natural antibiotic. It is highly effective in curing microbial and fungal infections. Some women also use garlic to relieve themselves of yeast infections. Though the process is a bit unconventional (a clove of garlic needs to be place into the female organ and removed after a few hours), it is highly effective and recommended by all women who have tried it.
